About
Mx. Lex Horwitz
(They/Them)
Mx. Horwitz is a non-binary trans Jewish LGBTQ+ activist, educator, consultant, public speaker and model who graduated from Bowdoin College with a B.A. in Psychology and Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies in May 2019.

Currently, Mx. Horwitz organizes and runs multiple Urgent Need Transition Related Programs in order to make transitioning accessible to all folks regardless of their financial standing, social/familial support, and/or "out" status.

Their LGBTQ advocacy and education focuses on educating allies and members of the queer community on queer identities, topics and issues. Mx. Horwitz found that there are many people who want to support transgender and gender non-conforming people but have not found a space that is safe, comfortable, and judgement-free to partake in queer education and allyship.
Through their advocacy, they hope to provide a judgement-free safe space for allies and queer people to engage in critical conversation about gender, sexuality, and community.
